This set pulls small sovereign island countries from several oceans and regions. Most of them show up as tiny shapes or points on the world map.

Malta is tiny but sits in a familiar sea. Nauru gives you much less nearby geography to work with.

How the typing map quiz works

One country is highlighted. Type its name and move on to the next one. You get the location as a clue, but the name has to come from memory.

Typing is useful once the shapes feel familiar but some of the names still lag behind.

Tip: If you recognize the shape but the name is slow, say the name out loud or in your head before typing.
