Type the Countries: North America Map Quiz
Practice the names and locations of North America by typing the highlighted countries.
From Canada to the Caribbean
This North America set includes the mainland, Central America and the sovereign Caribbean countries in Smurdy. Canada, the United States and Mexico take up most of the land area; the small-country work is farther south.
Canada fills the top of the map. Most close calls happen much farther south, where the land narrows and the islands begin.
How the typing map quiz works
One country is highlighted. Type its name and move on to the next one. You get the location as a clue, but the name has to come from memory.
Typing is useful once the shapes feel familiar but some of the names still lag behind.
Tip: If you recognize the shape but the name is slow, say the name out loud or in your head before typing.
