A few huge shapes and many tiny ones

Oceania gives you Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the independent Pacific island countries. On the world map, many of the island answers are tiny and very far apart.

Australia is obvious from almost any zoom. The Pacific island states can be hard to see even when you know their names well.

How the typing map quiz works

One country is highlighted. Type its name and move on to the next one. You get the location as a clue, but the name has to come from memory.

Typing is useful once the shapes feel familiar but some of the names still lag behind.

Tip: If you recognize the shape but the name is slow, say the name out loud or in your head before typing.
