Find the Country from a Point: South America Quiz
Identify which country in this set contains each point placed on the map.
A clean outline with a tricky northern edge
South America has only a dozen sovereign countries, so the whole set is manageable. Most of the trouble is near the north and around the two landlocked countries.
Chile is hard to lose. Guyana and Suriname are where the northern edge starts demanding more attention.
How the point map quiz works
A point appears somewhere on the map. Type the country that actually contains it. The round keeps going through all 12 countries.
Point mode works best on a map you already know pretty well. It exposes fuzzy boundaries quickly.
Tip: Points near borders are the nasty ones. Check which side of the border the dot is really on.
Use the Andes and the coastlines
Brazil is hard to miss and touches most of the continent. Use it as the country you check everything else against.
