Find the Country from a Point: Middle East Quiz
Identify which country in this set contains each point placed on the map.
Small Gulf states beside very large neighbors
This group covers the eastern Mediterranean, the Arabian Peninsula, Iran, Iraq and nearby western Asia. It is a much smaller set than all of Asia.
Turkey, Iran and Saudi Arabia are hard to miss. Bahrain can be tiny even after you know exactly where to look.
How the point map quiz works
A point appears somewhere on the map. Type the country that actually contains it. The round keeps going through all 16 countries.
Point mode works best on a map you already know pretty well. It exposes fuzzy boundaries quickly.
Tip: Points near borders are the nasty ones. Check which side of the border the dot is really on.
Scale is the main trap
The Gulf and the Levant have several small neighbors. A tiny shift on the map can put you in the wrong country.
