Find the Country from a Point: Middle East and North Africa Quiz

Find the Country from a Point / Middle East and North Africa / 20 countries

Identify which country in this set contains each point placed on the map.

A band from Morocco to Iran

MENA runs from Morocco across North Africa to the Middle East and Iran. It crosses two continents, which is part of why the full set feels bigger than the name suggests.

North Africa is a long strip. Around the Gulf and eastern Mediterranean, the borders bunch together quickly.

The map changes near Egypt

North Africa mostly reads west to east. The Middle East asks for much tighter border memory, especially around the Gulf and Levant.

How the point map quiz works

A point appears somewhere on the map. Type the country that actually contains it. The round keeps going through all 20 countries.

Point mode works best on a map you already know pretty well. It exposes fuzzy boundaries quickly.

Tip: Points near borders are the nasty ones. Check which side of the border the dot is really on.

Practice the two halves on their own

North Africa is basically a west-to-east chain. Learn that part first and the Middle East will feel like a separate, smaller problem.
