Asia Without Borders Quiz: Find All 51 Countries

Find the Countries / Asia / 50 countries

All the country borders are gone in this Asia quiz. You still have the coast, islands and peninsulas, so the job is figuring out where each name belongs from the shape of the continent itself.

Countries included in the Asia without-borders quiz

The full Asia set reaches from Turkey and Cyprus across Central and South Asia to Japan, Indonesia and Timor-Leste. With no internal lines, familiar subregions matter more than individual country outlines.

Japan and Uzbekistan barely feel like questions from the same map. Add Sri Lanka and the scale changes again.

Learn the outside edge first

Trace the continent around Arabia, India and Southeast Asia before worrying about the inland countries. Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia and Sri Lanka also give the empty ocean some structure.

How the no-borders map quiz works

A country name appears over a blank political map. Click roughly where it belongs and keep going through the set. The coastline stays visible.

Borderless mode is a good follow-up once the normal click map has become comfortable.

Tip: If an inland country feels impossible, find the nearest sea, peninsula or country-sized shape you know first.

Hardest parts of a borderless Asia map

Central Asia is the part most likely to turn into empty space. Mainland Southeast Asia is different: the countries are narrow and packed along a complicated coast.
